Learn guitar chords and strumming techniques
The chord pictures below are taken from my Khaas Baat video lessons.
Here is one example of how to read the chord position given below each picture.
[X, 3, 2, 0, 1, 0]
String 6: Muted (shown as X) – I use my thumb to touch the 6th string and mute it.
String 5: 3rd Fret with 3rd finger (Note C3 or simply C)
String 4: 2nd Fret with 2nd finger (Note E3 or simply E)
String 3: Open (Note G3 or simply G)

"C7" Shape
This chord shape is very useful for rhythm guitarists and you will often see me using this shape, as the transition from this chord (if built on the 5th interval of the scale) to the Tonic triad sounds very smooth. For instance, when you move from C7 to F in the same spot, or from D7 to G, or D7 to Gm. Something interesting about this shape is it does not contain the Pa or 5th interval if you take its root as Sa. For instance, the C7 shape below has a missing G note and you are only C, E, Bb, C. It still gives you the feel of a dominant 7th chord as the root, the major 3rd and minor 7th intervals are still there (Sa, Ga, ni).
